Habemus Papem!

I can't say it better, so I won't try. This article by Elizabeth Scalia, The Jesuit in Dominican Robes with a Franciscan Name says it wonderfully.

I love the fact that, as Katrina notes, Francis cannot be so easily pigeonholed. He is neither “left” or “right”; he is Catholic and therefore “both/and”. He champions neither the capitalists nor the statists and sees Social Justice as something more than a governmental checklist.
I said something quite similar last night on my way to the Indianapolis Archdiocesan Respect Life dinner!

And this comment from the article also had me smiling...

...what struck me when he emerged to the papal balcony was that he was a Jesuit, wearing the papal versions of Dominican threads, taking a Franciscan name. And I thought: UNITY.
Habemus Papa! We have a POPE!
May God Bless his work and his Petrine mission.
